minimal at a practice level. It's primarily related to advisor fit honestly. Some of that bleeds to programs, but not a ton. It doesn't limit networking or anything (I'm well integrated into APA leadership, for instance, and it never comes up).I more-so meant why would some people choose a counseling program over a clinical program. Obviously you get your doctorate, but what differentiates counseling from clinical? Can you ultimately end up with the same career regardless of whether you completed a counseling or clinical program?
