Sorry I'm just a kid with no experience w/ alcohol... do people freeze their alcohol?

Vodka's freezing point is -27 degrees celsius and freezers are normally -20 degrees celsius inside. So vodka doesn't freeze...it just gets really cold. Vodka tastes better cold.

To add to this, when I'm putting liquor in the freezer it is to keep it chilled because at normal freezer temperature it does not freeze. I like my celebratory stuff chilled, poured into an ice cold glass, so ice doesn't melt and water it down.

Also, I've been laying in bed for 47 minutes staring at the ceiling imagining every possible outcome on Friday... This week is going to drag.

I legitimately almost cried - I saw I received an email from UNE and thought it was a rejection because no news is good news until Dec 1st.
Nope, it wasn't, THANK GOD! But I'd say it made my nerves even worse. They may not even let us know on Dec. 1st and if we don't hear a decision we are welcome to send a letter of intent. I know this may be silly, but what does one include in a letter of intent to a dental school?

thankfully I have already done most of my bigger projects so this week is pretty smooth sailing but Im literally not paying attention in any of my classes anymore.

I think they were talking about rejections without interviews. I don't think they wait until the 1st, I've already gotten a few rejections. If you haven't had an update it probably means you're in the 'maybe' pile or they just haven't gotten to your application.

Ok... I've had slightly cold but not sub zero wines and liquors before, and, aside from hating the taste, I hate that feeling of gaseous ethanol violating my upper respiratory tract. Does cooling it like crazy make a significant difference in this respect? Seems like it should right? I might give alcohol another shot.

I met a lot of qualified applicants at my interviews, so in my opinion I think it’s pretty competitive this year.

Lower quantity doesn't mean the quality hasn't increased though. I also heard that the number of applicants are going down, nothing about the quality of the applicants, though.

Very true. The dentist I work for said he came out of school with 30k in debt. These days 30k will only cover half a school year.

Thanks! I have only applied to West Virginia school of dentistry. Since I am an instate student I figured my chances are higher here than out of state. They give priority for instate students. But I like the state and I look forward to get in here.
