Yeah, she did. I meant that I'd be considered for admissions on Dec. 1 at only Penn and Creighton. Sorry to confuse you.

Also, if anyone wants to know, Creighton will send their letters out Dec. 1 also and won't update on AADSAS. That's what the lady told me at the admissions office

With regards to Creighton. That is strange as they have been updating the AADSAS site pretty constantly. Good to know. Sorry Sopink, I guess I was wrong.

well, it depends on how they send it and where you live. Since it's Dec. 1 is a thursday, it could mean that many people will received their package on the following monday, tuesday or wednesday. Especially if they're in a different country like me 😀

i kinda wish every school would just update aadsas on dec 1. there's really no point in making us wait since they are allowed to notify on dec 1.

and since it really is all up to the post office to deliver, there's not much of a point making us wait because of the sluggishness of the post.

Cowsgomoo, I know what its like to be OCD and worried about everything, so I'm going to make a little prediction for you:
APPLIED: U Penn, U Conn, Columbia, Temple, MCG, Nova, NYU, BU, U Louisville, Tufts, UNC.
ACCEPTED: U Penn, U Conn, Columbia, Temple, MCG, Nova, NYU, BU, U Louisville, Tufts, UNC.

The only thing you need to be worrying about is the hand cramps you'll get from writing all those "Thanks but no thanks" letters to schools.

The main admissions secretary for Buffalo said that she updates their status web site at midnight on the 1st.

Anyone hear of any other schools which will let you know through e-mail, AADSAS, or their own web sites???

For schools that claim to update their site or aadsas at midnight on the 1st, or send you acceptance email at midnight, is it really true? It seems to be unrealistic for them to be working at such an hour, unless they do it in advance and it updates automatically when the time comes? I mean, the applicants might be anxious and up at the hour but I can't imagine why an admissions secretary would be dealing with such a matter way before his/her work day officially starts... not that I'll be checking right after midnight... 😛

I can't see anyone working at midnight either. It must be automated if this is really true.
