i've heard suny allows students to take just one quarter of o.chem lab (out of the two labs that are offered conjointly with ochem at my univ). but i was also wondering if any other opt schools are allowing that? Also, same question for physics.. are they allowing us to take just one
physics lab as well? or are they requiring all three quarters of lab?

one more thing. i plan on taking the oat's around april of next year. but i'll have completed only two quarters of biology by that time. would that be enough to do well on the oat's? =/

thanks guys!

2 semesters of bio is enough as long as you really do well in the class. but there is some physiology on the test about different systems (renal, cirulatory, nervous, etc) , so a psio class definitely wouldn't hurt 🙂 but you can definitly still do well on the oat without it. there's just only a few psio questions.

I would strongly recommend taking all physics labs where possible. They often help clarify and further enhance my understanding of certain topics not easily comprehended through the texts alone.
