Sorry if this is a stupid question but for the AMCAS app, for a course such as "ENGL2327 - American Lit," is the "course number"

2327 😕

or

ENGL2327 😕

Thanks! 😀

Anybody else?

In the AMCAS questions thread, someone said to literally put just the number......

(I emailed AMCAS a few minutes ago, but wanted a quicker response here!)

yo man, you dont trust me? lol, i emailed too and thats what they told me. i already sent everything off and it was fine that way

If it was just based on #, then they would have a hard time distinguishing courses from diff subjects that have the same #.

I just put in the abbrev. that was in my transcript, including the alphabets. Hopefully that's correct.

Thats what I was thinking too--it will defintely help in the verification process in distinguishing random numbers.

To the other guy--sorry, I am just trying to make sure I know what I'm doing before I enter in all of my grades!

Thanks for the help!

I put just the number without the letters. My app was verified with no problems and they didn't change anything. They will know what department the class is from because you have to select it from a drop down list.
