I'm a junior and planning on having my application ready to turn in by June 1st 2011. However, I don't have my calculus requirement. I passed out of my calculus class because of AP classes, but I realize that medical schools don't accept the AP scores and require that I take an year of calculus at the 4 year university. Would this prevent my application from being considered, even if I plan on retaking calculus at my university during my senior year? Thanks.

they usually ask you to list the courses you are taking. so they will see that you are planning to take it. It usually does not affect your application

Yeah, just schedule it for a coming semester and mention that on your application.

Make sure to check the 'pinky swear' and 'no takesies backsies' boxes.

For most schools it should be fine, but some schools need em completed by application time or by fall of the application year. For example Wake, Temple, cornell, Penn State.

What med schools besides USUHS won't accept AP credit for calculus?

Bro, I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, and I will find you.
