So here I am on a Saturday, confused about what I'm going to do for the rest of my life. I just got done with my Pediatrics rotation and I have to say that I actually enjoyed working with the kids and making a difference in their lives somehow. A couple of attendings even approached me and stated that I'll be perfect for peds. However, I've had my heart set on Path for as long as I can remember. I just love the idea of looking at what's going on microscopically and rendering a diagnosis and just getting to study all the diseases. Peds vs. Path- what are the pros and cons of each? For one, path gets paid more, but the job market is not as appealing as peds, but peds gets paid less. I'll appreciate any advice I could get🙂
