Does anyone have advice on housing in Omaha for freshman?

Check out the Old Market Lofts, they're 5 minutes from school and its real nice living right down in the old market. Places are nice out west, blondo and 115th, cummute really isn't bad at all. Plan on someplace for a year and move if you want to be in a different area later on. Call creighton to see if anyone is looking for roommates if you want to go that route. Good choice on Creighton.

The lofts are close to school, but a classmate of mine lives in one and had his car broken into twice this year. But that might just be bad luck. Also, there are many different apartment complexes all over the city, the apartments on Blondo and 115th are pretty topshelf, and there are others that are in a more modest pricerange. Apartmentguide.com has a lot of good options for you in Omaha. You might want to check it out.

Thanks for the help! I called the school and found a roomate who is from NE. He is going to find us a place in the next few weeks.
