Critic my PS

Hi all!

Would anyone be kind enough to look over my Personal Statement (for internal medicine residency) and give me blunt feedback/suggestions? Preferably someone who is a resident or gone through residency.

I know there are some website (medfools) who will do it for little money. I am not trying to be cheap. My family and I are just going through real financial hardship. So trying to see if anyone would volunteer their time to critique my PS.

When (and if? ) I become a resident, I will try to do the same for others.

I think your best option is to ask a mentor or a physician that you have worked closely with during you clinical rotations to take a look at you PS. They will be able to give you a better response than many on SDN. It is also free.

+1, people who are writing your LOR's usually like to see your PS and you can ask them for suggestions.

id be willing to critique other people's PS in exchange for the same (no plagiarism obviously), doesnt hurt to get outside opinions. PM me if interested
