Critical thinking

Hey guys,

My critical thinking skills suck. I still have quite a bit of time since I just started 3rd year. Is there anything I can do/read to increase reading comprehension/critical thinking before step 2? Thank you!

Just do the UW question bank during the year. Let UW do the critical thinking, you just worry about pattern recognition. I did poorly on shelves during all of MS3 because I was reading books but not doing UW. For Step II, I did ~1/4 of UW and scored in the 260's. I think this is because I already had all the knowledge, and doing part of UW simply taught me how to approach 2ck problems in a systematic way.
