I have crooked teeth and I have an interview coming up. Should I get braces first and then reschedule the interview for a later date or just hope the interviewer doesn't notice my crooked teeth. My initial plan was going to the ortho department at the dental school I get accepted to(getting braces once accepted into dental school) since my dentists says they ussually have discounts for students...What do you think I should do?

I don't think you should worry too much about this. I mean, your teeth will not make or break you. I think it's a great idea to get braces in dental school. I've heard of some schools giving each student an "allowance" for dental work to be done either on themselves or for family. In any case, just smile and be yourself! Good luck and Happy New Year!

haha... One of my interviewers seemed really excited that one of my front teeth had been replaced. I didnt have dental coverage for a while, so I didn't get anything done with it since I was 16. He looked when I smiled and said... "and your front tooth... we will fix that for free when you are here!" It struck me as funny, yet kind of precious. I think they LOVE new work for their dental students! 😉

I don't think the intention is to have perfect teeth by the time of the interview, just show that he is doing something about it. By the way, what is this "braces" thing everyone keeps talking about.

Then keep hammering away until that tooth is not visible.

Make sure you anesthetize the crooked tooth area though.
