CS really 8 hours? Total?

I have a question: if I take step II CS in phila and it starts at 8am on my ticket, can I reasonably expect to catch a train out of there at 5pm? The station is ~3 miles from the test center, so I would need to get out, hail a cab, and make it to the station.

Any thoughts?

My test wasn't in philly but it started at 8 AM and we were done by 3:30 PM.

Same. Out of the building at 3:30. So it depends how far the train station is.

- I took Step II CS in Phildelphia (granted, in 2008), but I was finished well before 5. Around 3:30 or so.

- What station are you leaving from that is 3 miles from the testing center? 😕 The Amtrak station at 30th and Market is 8 blocks away from the Step 2 CS site.

Ah yes...Google Maps has also informed me of this. So I should be OK then with a 5pm train I assume. That will save me some $!

Just took CS in Philly this past week. Had the 8 AM slot, out by 3:15 PM.

Not a problem at all. The testing site is a quick walk down Market St from Amtrak 30th St Station. It's about 7-8 blocks. Don't bother with a cab.

I was done at 315, earlier this month. The testing site is fine, lunch is provided.
