What do all the Oncs to be/current oncologists/radiologists think of these findings by the NEJM. They are saying that CTs can increase the overall cancer risk in the population to as much as 2%! That is crazy hard to believe. Apparently their research was done by comparing radiation levels to that of people on the outskirts during the nuclear bomb attacks.

I know people that have had 2 or 3 CT scans just for sinuses!

Any thoughts on this? At the trauma center I was just at they CT everyone! Even if u just got a bump on the head...
