Where in PharmCAS did you see that? I can't for the life of me find anything about that on PharmCAS ><

Under the application checklist (main page), Pharmacy designations (at the bottom), it listed UC as early decision and my status was changed to "Was"

This is the message I got from PharmCAS 4 days before my interview:

The pharmacy school that you had previously designated in your Early Decision application is no longer considering you as an Early Decision applicant during this cycle. As a result, you have the option to apply to more than one pharmacy degree program from this point forward. We encourage you to designate additional pharmacy schools if you wish, by logging on to your existing on-line PharmCAS application.

If you have any questions about the school's admissions decision, please contact the Early Decision school that you had previously designated.

Thank you.

I contacted Beverly Brunson right away to confirm that this was not true, and it turned out to be a generic email that was accidentally sent to me. Stupid PharmCAS:scared: nearly gave me a heart attack. BTW, PharmCAS still hasn't updated me and I can still apply to other schools, even though I got accepted through ED. So much for the system working.

You didn't have any experience? not even over the summer? your not even PTCB certified?

Not at all. I busied myself in undergrad by doing research for 4 years, various leadership roles and doing well in a difficult major. As long as you have a well balanced application and don't only have one strong point you'll be fine.

I agree that the application should be balanced with all kinds of activities. But, doesn't research qualify as an experience? What kind of research did you do in undergrad?

Mosquito related virology, so nothing really related to pharmacy. Although when I did my interview I happened to have a PhD researcher so they were very interested in it.

That is so cool!

and do you mean that the interviewer has a PhD in Pharmaceutical Outcomes Research (POR)? Do you know how I can get that PhD? and how many years I have to go to school extra after I get the PharmD?
