So I was watching a cube counting tutorial and she said it was make a tally of the different # of cubs. Then she went through the questions (how many have 1, 2, 3, ect sides painted). On the DAT will it really be the same figure with multiple questions on it? Usually worth the time to do this since there are multiple questions on the same figure?

Yes, you'll have about 3 questions on each figure. I highly recommend not making a tally though as it wastes too much time. I found it more effective to go through the figure twice and counting how many squares there are.

Thank you. Going to start practicing that method and see how it goes.

I agree with this completely. Why would you count all the 3's when there are no questions for it? Ultimately it wastes time, which you absolutely want to avoid on the PAT section.

Go through the questions and simply answer them. With practice you'll be identifying which ones are 4's, 3's or 2's fairly quickly. Keep on practicing, and you'll find this to be the easiest PAT section.
