So for all the fall 2013 MOT applications, there is a section where you input your current GPA. I am graduating at the end of this semester and my GPA will be updated somewhere after Jan 2, 2013, when many of my applications are due by. I know my GPA will increase but I have already submitted my transcripts at the beginning of the semester. What is recommended in this situation? Do you guys send updated transcripts after your GPA changes?

Long story short my GPA is at 3.557 and I think I can get it up to 3.778 after this semester. Columbia's app due date is Jan 2, and the deadline for my school's grade submission is Jan 2. Do you think I should send Columbia a new transcript once it is updated or just forget about it since my GPA won't get updated until after the application is due? I tried contacting their admissions department about this but they never got back to me.

😕

I would definitely send your new official transcript as soon as new grades are posted. Send it to the same address you sent your app.

Since you'll be getting your grades so close to the app due date, they probably won't have even sorted through all the apps by the time you send a new transcript.

Worst case scenario, they don't look at it and you've hurt nothing. Best case, you call them to verify that they got it and they update your GPA.
