Suppose I got rejected for the 2008 cycle. What happens to my LORs? Do I get to recycle them for the next cycle? Or are they lost and I must ask for more LORs?

My LORs are strong and I would like to keep them just IN CASE I needed to reapply.

I know some schools allow you to reuse your LORs. Check with the school.

If you apply through PharmCAS, they discard everything.
