i know it sounds cheesy, but we could start a vocabulary lesson for interview prep. for example:

what are pm & r residents, and what do they do?

what is HIPAA?

what is a tenens locum appointment?

the article is alluding to the phenomenon of "superinfection." i read the actual case-study on this patient. you shouldn't jump to conclusions about this guy "spreading" the virus. many HIV-infected people engage in sexual activity with other HIV-infected individuals. since they're both already seropositive, safe-sex seems futile. this case-study says otherwise- different subtypes of HIV-1 co-infection can result in a more rapid progression of disease. it argues for safe-sex practices even among HIV-infected persons.
