Current Military: Question with Admissions

Hey all,

I'm looking for some advice regarding this years admission cycle. I am currently serving my 5th year as an infantryman in the national guard. I am a Texas resident and have a 3.64 cGPA and a 3.57 sgpa with a 506 MCAT.

Does anyone know if this military experience will help with my application, and would I be considered for any MD programs? I have applied only to the MD programs in Texas.

Thank you. I know this is limited to numbers, but do you think I would be considered as competitive to Texas schools with these stats?
