Help me out, fam. Considering both have similar cost of attendance and board scores / match rates, please give me other tie-breakers you see between these 2. Thanks!

Denver >> rural NC (unless you’re into that)
CUSOM non-profit > RVUCOM for profit
Campbell’s in-house residency programs > nothing at RVU
Campbell’s D1 sports > no RVU sports or undergrad campus

Both are pretty new. Both are ranked similarly by residency directors. Is one closer to home than the other?

Hey thanks, I hadn't thought of the latter 3 so I appreciate the unique points. Campbell is closer to home. I was in the area exploring lately and it's definitely quite rural. I'm not so worried about that except for how difficult it is to find housing. All the housing I can see is 20+ min away and as expensive as RVU's area, which is surprising give the difference in resource availability, school district quality, etc. So I have to consider 2 years of driving 20+ mins for mandatory lectures vs....not having to do that lol. But you bring up good points.

For sure. Definitely consider local schools if you have kids or a SO, or perhaps the tinder scene if you don’t haha (point RVU). Consider distance to airports and flights/trips home too. I don’t think there’s a big quality difference between the two schools—so choose what feels right to you I guess!

I know, the fact that they're both attractive makes it hard :/ Good points, thanks again!

Bumping this because I'm agonizing about it and wondering about peoples' reasoning for the votes. At this point it comes down to: CUSOM mandatory attendance, RVU not. Does anyone know if I can come to CUSOM lecture and listen to headphones / do my own thing? And do you live close enough that the commute isn't an issue? I'm not seeing much for housing in the immediate area. Thanks for any additional insight.
