Hey all, I am getting kind of nervous right now. I have an interview tomorrow at one of the CVS' corporate offices. From what I gathered from the interview, what would happen is I interview once, for about 12 stores. If I do well, the lady will try to find me a pharmacy technician job in the neighboring CVS'. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for this interview? What kind of questions should I expect to hear? What should I wear (shirt/tie or full suit)?
Thanks for the help! I am very excited and nervous for this:scared:

I was nervous when I got my interview for a Technician job. Just be yourself, where a shirt, tie, etc. Answer all the questions with confidence, emphasize on your volunteer work, gpa, and drive to succeed in your academics to work towards your goal of being a pharmacist. Also let them know that you believe being a pharmacy technician is a great step towards a career in pharmacy. That worked for me. I have been at Wegmans Pharmacy for 2 years and almost 5 at the company hopefully that will help me get into their pharmacy school. Anyway even if they don't find you a position in pharmacy keep trucking because the turnover in pharmacy is tremendous because its a middle ground most technicians go back to school, or leave to go to pharmacy school so there should be tons of openings somewhere since the new semester is about to start. Good luck~~

This may come too late for you...but my suggestion is also shirt & tie.

What can you expect?

Where have you worked before?

What made you leave your last job?

Why are you interested in pharmacy?

Have you ever worked in a pharmacy?

Do you have any arrests or convictions?

Are you flexible with your hours & days of work?

Do you have your own transportation?

Those are just some.....Now...you need to come up with your own questions.....

Where are the possible locations I might expect to work?

Would I have a permanent location or would I be expected to float?

Will I have a set # of hours per week?

What kind of training period is offered for new hires?

Good luck!

Its never too late for me😉 . Plus my interview is at 4:15pm EST tomorrow afternoon.

Shirt and tie seems to be the way to go, so I guess i'll do that.

As for the questions, thanks for the help. Im going to spend some time tomorrow working out answers to those questions as well as how I am going to phrase my questions.
I also intend to bring a copy of my resume, as well as my class schedule (i am a full time student). Hopefully those will come in handy.

Thanks much for the help👍

Now that I know you are a full time student...another question to ask them will be how flexible are they able to be with your class/exam schedule.

Good luck - now....it is very late for you!!!! (I sound like your mother....hmmm...well...I'm somebody's mother & she's on the east coast too - asleep I hope!😛 )!

SDN, I'm not sure when you work, but it must vary. I've seen posts all time of day and night.

Anyway, main reason for the post was to say good luck. I know you've only got like 5 hours to go.😱
