It looks like CVS now has a track (a coursework) to be a PIC called PMEL(am emerging leader program)? Do you get a raise if you applied for it?

No, only if you get the district manager job 5 years down the road (you won't)

Kiss a bunch of asses and do your boss dirty work. Imz training, training new grads, a bunch of extra projects, clinical work, top imzer, chime in for "new" ideas and pretend you know more than every one at the meeting/conference call, etc and cross your finger they might just like you enough to promote you. Wait until one of the DM retires. You could be waiting 5-10 yrs, then some new grads manager 2 yrs in, better looking, taller, more charming then you, more likeable to your boss, steal the spot.

I think people are confusing the old EL program with the new PMEL program. The old EL program was for PICs that wanted to become a district leader, the PMEL program is for staff pharmacists that want to become a PIC. No you do not get a raise for being in the program, heck you barely get a raise for becoming a PIC, but it may be worth it to you if you like to have more control over the pharmacy (or you are a really good staff pharmacist in a ghetto store and the only way they are ever going to move you is to become a PIC).

Anyone here have the numbers for the Learnnet modules that are to be completed for this program?

Hahahah, the absolute lack of dignity of the pharmacists who are now doing extra computer modules in order to be PICs at the worst pharmacy company is horrifying.

Wow.
