I got $100 as employee reward in last week's paycheck.
But actual paid check does not include that amount. Where did it go???

Does anybody know about this?

Yup. That's why I never cashed in my brownie points.

This company is so cheap! They can't even really give a real gift to their employees :/ Sad
Its not the company - its the IRS - if they gave you $100 - they are really giving you ~$66 - but hey - its is better than a kick in the nuts

I agree and get it... But at that point I'd rather just have $25 put on my paycheck lol
Yup. It's dumb. They list items at MSRP, so after taxes, it's the same as just buying it on sale. Gift cards would be worth it if you were going to buy them anyway, but I opted out.

well - then you would have to pay 7 dollars in taxes and it is 18! we get amazon gift cards at work for different rewards - so we can get items that we would buy anyway, and often at the best prices - so that works out best - but ya - I would rather have cash equivalent - but that is most of us. My cousin "won" a trip to Hawaii - but had to pay taxes on it -he got a great trip - but it essentially cost him about half of what he would normally have paid due to taxes and inflated values.
