Hello!

I will be applying for cytopath fellowships and was wondering what are good abnormal pap specimens should one see daily? What is a good number of FNAs performed? EBUS? EUS?

Basically if anyone can shed some light as to what numbers should one see for the various types of cyto specimens that would be helpful! Any other advice in seeking a solid cytopath fellowship training program would be appreciated!

Dont't worry about it. just see as much as you can everyday. Nobody will actually get really at anything until you are actually signing out cases. You likely won't have that option because cytology is ACGME accredited.

I would suggest going to Brigham's and Women's for your fellowship. The study set there is phenomenal.
