Hey guys, not sure if anyone has even heard of pickleball (its a sport), but if you have, does anyone know of any D.O. schools near Pickleball "Hotspots"? Other than Western (both campuses), PNWU-COM, AZ, and MSUCOM?

Preferably the midwest and east coast schools, because i don't have much knowledge of pickleball on that side of the country.

Looking to compliment my medical school education with some pickleball once a week.

If I told you there was a pickle ball court in the Carribean, would you go there?
I just want to know how deep your passion is.

There isn't, there is only pickleball in the US, Canada, Spain, India, and Japan that i know of.

But no, I wouldn't. There is a difference between complimenting my Medical Education, and compromising it. The latter=Carribean. But nice try you little scoundrel! 🙂

Attending MSUCOM and I have never heard of pickleball before....we're really in a hotspot? Must not be popular?

I had to google pickleball because I assumed this was a troll thread, but it turns out it's a real thing.

Unless you're lucky enough that another SDNer is coincidentally another pickleball enthusiast, @Dr. Death 's advice is probably the only way to find out what you're looking for.

I haven't played pickle ball since like 7th grad P.E. hahahha There are actually adult leagues around??? I could spare a Wednesday afternoon or two to play again before school starts

I believe Pickleball is a common game among the retired folks. So just specialize in Geriatrics and you can be in a Pickleball Hotspot for your entire career!
