D4 Grades - Do They Matter for Residency?

I'm wondering if D4 spring grades matter for resideny applications (assuming you apply beginning of D4 year).
Most of our clinical classes do not end until end of D4 spring, so the final grades don't post until then.
Does this mean residencies only consider D1-D3 grades for your class rank?
