DAT 4th time

Hey everyone!

I have a question.
To take the DAT for the 4th time.. do you have to wait a whole year from your last DAT or is that AFTER your 4th time that you can only take it once a year?

Yes, you have to wait a year. Below is what is stated in the 2018 ADA DAT Guide, page 14

Applicants are required to submit a new application and fee for each retest. Applicants must wait at least 90 days from their last attempt, before retaking the DAT; there are no exceptions to the 90-day waiting period.
Applicants who have had three or more DAT attempts must apply for permission to test again. From that point forward, they may retest only once per 12-month period
