Hi all could someone please explain why in DAT bootcamp there is a question referring to the major extracellular and intracellular buffer systems and bootcamps answers are:

Extracellular = bicarbonate
Intracellular = phosphate

but when i took the 2009 dat practice exam doing biology question 14 asks what is the major intracellular buffer and the correct answer is D) bicarbonate . can someone explain which is correct ...

also is there a full scale for the 2009 DAT practice exam and how did it compare for most people compared to BC and actual DAT ?

took the 2009 today and did on average 1 - 2 points lower than my bootcamp averages, besides for PAT, which seemed easier than bootcamp.

I'm pretty sure that question is an error .

Yeah, I also did worse on the 2009 ADA (compared to BOOTCAMP) . Not sure if there is a full scale comparison though

Yeah that question is wrong on the 2009 test along with a few others. Look up the thread on SDN. And don't even consider the 2009 QR test, it was absolutely ridiculous. I took 2009 right before my actual test and got an 18 while I got a 22 on the actual thing.

Did you take the 2007 test? If so, how did it compare to the real deal?

I thought the 2007 was much easier than the real thing, at least for most sections. The real DAT will be somewhere in the middle of the 2007 and 2009. Honestly the 2007 was more representative of my real score, but the QR is really easy on 2007. Also, the PAT's are a joke on both of these, I wouldn't even do them, just do bootcamp. Here are my scores for them:
(AA/PAT/Bio/GC/OC/RC/QR)
2007: 23/26/21/20/30/17/29
2009 (counting errors as correct): 21/28/25/23/20/20/18
Real DAT: 23/25/20/22/29/20/22
