Here are my scores for the DAT:

PAT: 17
QR: 21
RC: 21
Bio: 21
GC: 18
OC: 19
TS: 19
AA:20

Cumulative GPA: 3.58
Science GPA: 3.49
BCP GPA: 3.41
Major: Biomedical Engineering

I was wondering how well do I fare in getting accepted to a dental school. I know I did pretty well in most sections except the PAT. However, do you all think I should be okay? I have done many extracurricular and volunteering activities.

Study Material:

Perceptual Ability: Crack the DAT PAT (CDP)

Quantitative Reasoning: Didn't really study for this section since I am good at math. I did several practice tests from Crack the DAT math.

Reading Comprehension: Practice tests from Crack the DAT reading.

Biology: Cliff's AP Biology, 3rd edition.

General Chemistry: ExamKrackers MCAT 7th edition.

Organic Chemistry: ExamKrackers MCAT 7th edition.

I also did free practice tests from DAT Boot Camp and DATqvault. The DAT question of the day is also something I used to study. Overall, most of my studying came from doing many practice tests.

Your TS, AA and GPA are about average for admitted students. Buy the ADEA guide for $10, or look for DocToothaches post with most of the data from the guide in excel files to come up with schools to apply to.

Average stats, you should be able to get in to some schools. I would apply to about 10, maybe a few more/few less. Overall nice job and that is a good GPA for BME, maybe you should just do that instead lol.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. My GPAs have changed slightly after the ADEA's calculations. Am I still a competitive applicant?

Well done considering your challenging major!!! Your DAT scores are fine (may be a little low on the PAT). I would say apply to around 10 schools (may be more just to be safe).
