Dat done 7/16..Yeah....what are my chances?

So I took my DAT today, I feel as if I did alright, but I do feel as if I got a couple weird questions that I would never expect to be on the exam...Also, I'm 100% sure that I got the same question twice on the biology portion, just different wording. I can guess most of the replies that I am an average applicant, but I suppose I'm fishing for compliments and at the same time get a legitimate view on my chances as a first time applicant.

So I have a 3.5 cGPA and a 3.3 sGPA with 100 hours of shadowing, 50 hours of volunteering, VP of the Pre-Dental club, and I have been working the past two years while going to school. I feel as if I have a strong PS, and 2 strong letters from a science faculty and a dentist. I have a third letter that probably is a generic letter. So what do you guys think? Just average all around...or do I have a better shot than that?

Thanks for your input, and I am more than happy to answer any questions you have about my preparation, I just don't feel like my breakdown would give any "new" info to the discussion.

You are fine. Apply to a lot of schools and you should get some interviews.

Do you have all of your LOR in??
As long as your application is complete ASAP (except DAT of course), I wouldn't worry too much 🙂

It's nice to see a "normal" DAT score. My gpa is some what similar to yours and I am hoping for scores like yours as well! Good luck buddy I think you will be alright.

Everything seems to be par:

AA/TS of 19 check.
GPAs between 3.3-3.5 check
Decent dental exposure check.
Good ECs check.

Apply to a good number of schools at you're set.

Assumption: You are not a URM. If you are then your chances are slightly better. (Disclaimer: please don't interpret this as pro or anti URM, just stating facts)

Nope, not URM...and I was hoping for one of those awesome scores...but if this gets me interviews then I believe I can show that I'm a good candidate. Thanks for the input, guys. 👍
