Well your dat is good. However a downward trend in your gpa especially with it being that low is not good. Raise it up the next two semesters or whatever you have left. You could get in somewhere, but odds are not in your favor. Raise the gpa and you will be in much better shape.

I had very similar stats and i ended up going into nyu. it will probably come down to your ec and interview. you will get a few invites. be sure to send in your app asap though. mine was sent out to schools on aug 11 i think, according to aadsas. my ecs included a crapload of research and a few publications, along with a a few officer positions in clubs. and continue to shadow. they lvoe seeing that. they ask a lot of questions about it during interviews. dont expect to get into the more competitive schools it would be a waste of moey to apply there.

good luck

yeah and you better get your butt in gear with your gpa for the remaining semesters, it can help in case youre waitlisted somewhere you really want to go to.

Was kaplan helpful for you? Or do you regret it
If your EC's are good, you should be in good shape

The honest to god truth, it was excelent for the resorces. It takes me a while to catch things, so doing the BB readings an then the online readings really helped me alot. The class room part was a bit of a waste becuase theres only so much you can cover three hours a week. Plus I used destroyer, acheiver, an crack DAT PAT

Where did you go to college? GPA is not as big of a factor..but WHERE you got that GPA is! If you went to a local community college...vs a competitive college...your chances are remarkably different..
