I got a 2.8 gpa uhhh, i messed up my first 2 years, but im a chem major, and I've already dished out over 2k in applications and I am worried about the DAT now. Do you think O chem is gonna screw me over, I am so worried about that.

These are my anticipated scores:
BIO:20
O CHEM:17
G CHEM: 26
READING: 21
QR: 30 (seriously, i can do this no joke)
PAT: 22

Do you guys think that will get me somewhere?

Honestly?

Probably not.

Statistically there are too many other people with GPA much higher who will get the same/higher DAT.

Don't waist thousands of dollars this cycle, go do a post-bac and get that GPA up if you are serious about pursuing dentistry.

But hey if you've got $$ to burn no harm in trying I guess. Just make sure you have a backup plan ready to go immediately.

Edit: I see you were also pre-med and pre-optometry last year? Make sure you are honestly assessing your direction. You may have a long and hard road ahead of you so if dentistry is not something you are willing to sacrifice for than maybe consider other options.

I don't mean to come off as harsh. But I think it's good for us to all be honest with each other. This is just my opinion and it's only based off what I've researched on my own so take it with a grain of salt.

Better to be scared and work harder than think you're good enough and slack off.

Get those scores then come back later and ask.
I used to get AA 26s on my practice DAT, ended up with a 22 on the real thing (Canadian version).
