I have found a few threads focusing on this topic, but I haven't been able to find a clear and concise answer to what I am looking for.

I am taking my DAT for the first time in mid-late March and planning on having everything ready so I can submit my application the very first day, June 1st. Right now, I feel that my application will be above average in most respects except for my GPA, which will be around 3.2 in both science and overall after this semester. Since it is slightly below average, I was hoping to sort of make up for it with my DAT. However, with so much going on with school, I think I may have to take my DAT a second time in order to get the scores I want due to insufficient studying the first time around.

Here is what I am looking for in a nutshell. I will be submitting my application with DAT scores June 1st and if I'm not happy with them, I am going to state in my application that I will be retaking the DAT in mid-late June/early July...

Will they not review my application at all until my second set of DAT scores are in?
Will they still review my application as if I were a June 1st applicant, or a mid-late July applicant since that is when my new scores will be in?

I am basically looking for a timeline of how this will play out for me and if I will still be recognized as getting in my application in early. Thanks for your help.

If you don't think you will get the scores you want first time around because of time issues then do your-self and your wallet a favor and wait to take it until your ready.. No since taking it expecting to take it again later on because of the thought of doing bad..
