just finished taking my DAT. 18AA but awful chemistry scores and bio score. If I retake in October will I still have time to apply??

What is your score breakdown? I had an 18AA and was accepted
The problem is that I graduate in October and that from October- August 19 was supposed to be my gap year. With your Chem/Orgo scores, you’re gonna have to retake. October will be late to apply. I would take a gap year and make sure to do very well on your next DAT, get more experience, perfect your PS, etc. Be ready to go at the beginning of June of 2019. Good luck!
Whats the rest of your app like? And what schools do you want to get into?
Even though it is late if I do bring up the TS to around a 19 I can still apply for the this cycle correct? Although it will be late better to try then not to I’m thinking. With a 15 TS score, you will need to retake the DAT. Most adcoms will probably assume you are not capable of keeping up with the science courses of dental school. Also, do not apply until you have a new score!
October is pretty late to be applying imo. Some of the schools I have applied to have application deadlines in October like Iowa, Michigan, and UMKC. If you're going to be applying in October, make sure you knock the DAT out of the park with a 20+ score. It's very expensive to apply to schools (close to $200/school when factoring in secondary fees), your money may be better spent applying day 1 next cycle.Even though it is late if I do bring up the TS to around a 19 I can still apply for the this cycle correct? I would wait and get a better score. October is late and you may waste money even applying to one school if you don't perform well again. Schools like to see preparation and consistency. Increase your experiences and kill the dat.Even though it is late if I do bring up the TS to around a 19 I can still apply for the this cycle correct? Many schools require a minimum subject score of 17, even if your AA or TS is more than 17. I suggest taking a gap year so you can retake your DAT. As other people mentioned, October is very late, and you might risk having to re-apply again anyways.Even though it is late if I do bring up the TS to around a 19 I can still apply for the this cycle correct? I thought I did well in the chemistry sections and used chads videos and DAT Bootcamp. Was averaging a 17-19 on every practice test and in bio averaging a 24 on every practice test. When I got to the exam it seemed as if none of the material was the same. Very frustrating after studying for 3 months non stop.
I think the main problem was that I was spending a majority of my days looking at Bootcamp and saw the problems so many times that I had memorized them instead of learning the actual reactions and steps. A mistake looking back that I could have prevented, but a learning mistake none the less. Next time I will be sure to learn everything instead of memorize. As far as Bootcamp bio I had memorized everything. And I mean everything. What I failed to do once again was actually learn and understand it.What was so different about the chemistry sections than bootcamp? And did you do all the bootcamp exams or any other resources? I'm taking it soon also scoring about same.
