I am curious, how is the DAT scored? If the scoring are coming out on the same day the test was given, then I am guessing that it is not curved

Whereas if you compare it to the MCAT, you have to wait 4 weeks for your scores to come out (I guess because theyr waiting for the curve to seattle down)

I was able to find the approximation chart on this page:
http://www.ada.org/prof/ed/testing/dat/dat_estimate_score.pdf

it looks like a straight scale to me

You get the scores instantly on your computer screen when you finish the test. From what I understand it is based someone on what everyone else has done, but I'm not sure how much it would adjust the minimums for each score.

The scoring process will simply compare your score to those previously achieved by others. That's how you're assigned the percentile on top of the individual score. Your results will often turn out better than you've expected because a portion of the questions (usually the harder ones) will not be scored. But, do treat each problem seriously as you won't know whether or not a question is going to be graded.
