Hey all, so here is my question for you. I hope that you will be able to give me some advice on this one because I am internally conflicted on which would be the better option for me.
What it comes down to is would it be advantageous to take the DAT over spring break, to have everything done before the cycle opens up, OR should I wait a few weeks for finals to end to take it? Is there any benefit to having the DAT done and completed before you submit your applications or does it have no real effect? I ask because in my brain it seems "better" to have it done before and then just ship everything off at the same time-but I have never really heard that from anyone. Also, I plan on taking a full load of classes next semester. Next semester I will be taking Dif EQ, Calc 3, Ochem2, BioChem and Physcis 2 oh and dont forget work...... Anyways, If I plan on taking it over spring break, do you think it is doable if I study for the DAT over weekends say 2 months out or something or am I a little to optimistic? Thanks in advance for all the imput!!

This depends on the person. I've known people who study for 2 months and get 21's and above and people who study 2 weeks and get 21's. But on the safe side I would suggest taking it at the end of June-early july. Start studying now and then go HAM during June.

Have your entire application finished by mid- June and submit it. Most schools start looking at apps in July I believe. If the only thing missing it your DAT then they will hold onto everything at the same time verifying your application info. So you wont be late at all
