Can anyone give me some direction as to what resources are best to study for the DAT and how much time I should give myself to get ready for this test? I have somewhat of a background in biosciences, but I haven't looked at that stuff in a long time.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, I''m also starting to get ready for the dat. Maybe, we can start a study group, pm if you are interested.

I highly recommend making a study group, either through Whatsapp or Facebook or what have you. I had a really good group and we constantly quizzed each other and asked each other for help clearing up difficult concepts and tips weeks leading to the exam. Many of the questions we quizzed each other actually were on the exam! Automatically that bumped us up 1~2 points overall. As for resources, I would recommend: DAT Bootcamp, DAT Destroyer, DAT Genius and DAT QVault (Especially for bio, but the other ones are good as well). Good luck!

I used the following: destroyer, bootcamp, cliff bio, crack dat pat, chad's videos (one true god).

I used the exact same materials, but i supplemented cliff bio by reading through the bio section of the Kaplan review book. destroyer is amazing prep for bio, ochem, math, and gen chem because it makes the real exam feel a lot easier. For the reading section, I basically just found scientific narrative review articles and practiced reading them as quickly as possible and trying to summarize them in 5-6 sentences. I also took 1 practice reading section that came for free with my crack dat pat 2 days before the exam just so that i could get a feel for the layout of the section, how they ask questions, and time
