DATE of the EXAM ...plz help

hi there... how r u ALL .. hope u r fine..

i am considering applying for NBDE part 1 within the next 5 months, i read the NBDE candidate guide... but unfortunately i still have some questions... what really concerns me is the way by which the date of examination is arranged ... in the candidate guide page 8 " the candidate will call ( 800-688-5804 ) to register for the examination . The day,time, and place for taking the examination will be arranged by the candidate when the candidate calls thePrometric contact center "

my question is ...how often the exams are held within 12 months / year ... and when .. is it once in a month, once every 3 months.. etc... r they held in all states at the same time ...
coz i can only set for the exam between 20 jan 09" - 10 feb 09" otherwise i need my dean's permission to leave for 1 week .. which is really difficultttttttttttttt....

any day as long as that day is available at the prometric center you choose. You can even do it on Sunday. Watch out for ADA blackout dates though
