Who didn't hook up with at least 3 classmates during pharmacy school? Nobody had enough time to get any elsewhere. Then again, you kids have Tinder now. So maybe you aren't as hamstrung on that one.

Dating? No. Fwb? Plenty. Usually more active before and after exams. Haha.
For me - it really does not matter what scene I’m in. I draw the attention of the ladies no matter what. It’s almost like a curse.

Yes, actually. There were a bunch of couples.
We had three couples dating in my class including myself and wife. All three couples are married. We graduated in 2014. I know a lot of married pharmacist couples in my area.

I’m of this school of thought. With that said, we had quite a few couples. I know of three that got married of those I cared to keep track of.

I have met some pharm girls openly claiming that they are entitled to date only high-paying doctors, lawyers and software engineers, cuz themselves will become "doctors", so they deserve someone much better

I specifically avoided dating pharmacy classmates. Was it a smart way to not burn networking potential?-who knows... If I started over again would I hook up with them?-DEFINITELY haha
not worth the drama. I hooked up with locals but never wrote with the company ink. If something goes bad, and with #METOO it often does, do you really want to get kicked out of pharmacy school for that?
I know someone who dated someone from the same class. They even went as far as vacationing together. I heard something went awry during a trip and a police report was generated due to some kind of a domestic disturbance. All I know is one of them got booted and never came back.
Relatively small class sizes makes it a lot like being in high school, seeing the same faces over and over again. Inevitably like high school hormones fly and one thing goes into another.. and yadda yadda yadda. But just like high school, there is no such thing as a secret. And if it causes a headache for you, it's going to cause a headache for your staff.

I can believe it. Some of our current preceptors are technically PGY 2 academia students or graduated within 2-3 years of our current class.

I finished a rotation with a site today, it was an IPPE [1 week] and he wasn't my preceptor- he's just a pharmacist who worked there but I shadowed him for a little bit. How would I go about asking him out on a date and would it be ok?

After going through pharmacy school, I've seen it all. A couple of the girls in my class and previous years hit on 2 of the professors (one of which slept with students). I knew 3? APPE rotation sites where the preceptor was sleeping with the students. Students dating students? Seen plenty of that, some engaged now and some married.
My professor married 3 students before he is in his 70s. He is flirty and students think he is hot. Don't know
