Am I the only one that is scoring in the 17-19 range in biology? I swear, I know my **** and I've read Kaplan, Destroyer, Alan's Notes, and I've already taken like 7 benchmark tests. I've taken the REAL DAT TWICE and I got 17,19 so how in the world am I getting such low scores on this?

All the questions I've been missing are SUPER RANDOM or SUPER DETAILED stuff that has never been mentioned in Kaplan or anything else I've read or studied from. It's ridiculous, but it does a great job of breaking your confidence.

I did better on the real thing than on DATQVault, but only slightly. I'd say overall that it is a fairly good tool for gaining exposure to how biology questions can be asked, even if it does sometimes go into a bit too much detail to be entirely useful.

I do not think that datqvault does a great job of presenting exact questions that will be on the test but rather it does similar things to you that the DAT will, meaning it will twist easy bio 101 material or questions so that they become difficult but can be inferred by a solid knowledge of biology. the exhibits are great though

datQvault helped me because it was another study tool and another way for me to cover more material in biology. The bio section is random and honestly, the best way to prepare for it is to just keep learning new facts up until the days before the test. I liked datQvault and my score on the real DAT was similar but that could just be for me. Don't be discouraged if you're getting lower scores...it doesn't really mean anything - especially if you say that you've already read through all those study materials 👍

If you can try and pick up Schaum's, Barrons, or Cliffs. I am personally using Campbell's 7th edition, Barrons AP, Cliffs AP, and Schaums. I took bench mark test 1 before I started studying and got a 16. I retook it this morning and got a 23. Try and expose yourself to as much material as possible, even if what your reading does seem random. The more the better. If you don't understand anything, write it down on an index card so you can quiz yourself. Once a pile accumulates, carry that ish everywhere you go.

Duuuuuuude, I came on SDN to seriously put up the same post, wow. I can't believe I just saw this lol

I was going to say I keep on getting either 18's or 19's. The stuff I get wrong are like the randomest things which I never saw in Barron's, Cliff's, Alan's, or Destroyer.

I don't know if the first test of Topscore was super easy, but I ended up getting 36/40 on the Bio section yesterday. I walked into DatQVault all happy today and I got banged by an 18.

I don't know what to say.

I got a 24 on my real dat and I was averaging 18-21.
