How long is it normal to wait for a response to a letter requesting a 1-year deferral? I sent mine out a week and a half ago and am getting antsy...

that doesnt seem like too long of a wait. they prolly got the letter a week ago...and its undergoing some processing i assume.

maybe 2-4 weeks? and you can call intermittenly during that time to see the status of your letter.

You can always call at this point to confirm that they received the letter and ask them how long it should take to get a response.
