Hey Guys,

I am an international student and already have a Bachelor Degree. Presently I am taking courses( pre-requisites and other advanced courses) at my local university. I am working towards getting atleast 90 credit hours before next fall and for this I had to sign up as a Degree-seeking student ( as I had some transfer courses). My question is should I imply in my application that I am a Degree-seeking student or just a non-degree student. All I am concerned now is how the ADCOMS will see me as a candidate because I may not complete my degree by time I get into a dental school. Will they consider me a prospective candidate because I will 90 credit hours or will they view that as a negative point in my application as I may not complete my degree. What are the pros and cons of specifying as a degree-seeking or a non-degree student? Please help me out guys......some advice for your fellow SDNer.....

Thanks in advance....

Comeon guys, somebody that could help me out with some advice...............please.............

If you are enrolled as a "degree seeking" student I think you should put that on your application.

You could make a note somewhere else in your application that you will not be finished with your degree by matriculation.
