Recently it has been announced that there will be a delay in score reporting for Step 2 CK taken in August. Instead of the usual 3-4 weeks time, the scores for all test takers taking the exam during August will be released on September 26th.

So can anyone please elaborate how this delay in CK score reporting would impact residency applicants, particularly IMGs? (Keeping in mind that this year ERAS application start date is 15th September instead of the usual 1st September)

How much difference would it make in terms of getting interviews if an IMG applies with Step 1+CS result alone v/s Step1+CS+CK result?

It will make almost no difference. But if you have a time machine and can go back and take the test earlier you should probably do it.
