Delay in Committee Letter, how long does it usually take?

My friend, who studies in Columbia, has been waiting for the committee letter to be sent out for 2 full months, and is still waiting. Can you believe it? Very frustrated for sure.

It made me wonder, how long does it usually take?

If the school send the letter in mid-late Sept, would that be too late?

I'm in the same boat, and it sucks terribly. nothing we can really do but wait, especially since it can only hurt if we complain to the people who are writing us the letter lol. it's an awful situation.

I would think September isn't too bad, it's when you start running into October and flirting with deadlines that it could be very bad.
