Hi all,

I'm a prospective student, 3rd year at UCD, applying for the entering class of 2005.

I'm just about done with my AMCAS, just finalizing the personal statement. (Anyone willing to proof-read would be much appreciated!) My academics are my weakpoint, my extra-curriculars are my strong-point.

As of right now, my GPA is 3.35. With the just-completed Spring quarter grades added, it'll be a 3.40. The problem is that it'll take 3 weeks for the official transcripts to reflect these grades! I've always been told getting in your AMCAS very promptly is a big advantage... but I feel like the grade boost'll be important, especially since I'm border-line as it is!

What do you guys think? Should I just hold off for 3-4 weeks, and submit AMCAS after spring-quarter transcript are available? Or is there some other alternative anyone else can suggest... can I "claim" my grades (I've already had confirmation with my professors) in AMCAS? Or should I not worry about it, and just clarify it in the secondaries?

Thanks in advance!

You'll still be early if you wait for them. I think you can submit it now and update it later.....I think.....
