Delaying application to take another class worth it?

Hello,
Your numbers are by no means terrible, so I would not worry a great deal. One thing though is when you take the DAT make sure to score well in Ochem. This will show that you have shored those classes up and the C's are not reflective of you ability.
Be careful about taking classes at cc as many schools limit or dislike cc classes, (I have a lot of them). Bumping your GPA is never a bad thing though what I would do, especially since you are worried about grades, is submit early and include that class in your intended to take classes and give an updated grade in the fall to the aadsas.

Just my two cents. Good luck!

Delaying your app wouldn’t help, you can take the course and send your new grades through the academic update. Also most cc don’t have advanced biology courses.

Yeah I would agree with Bingwen. I have heard at a presentation for UoP where they said they will look at DAT scores to compensate for courses where you did not do as well on. However, this might depend on the schools that you are taking so try looking up stats on the schools you want to apply for a more definite answer.

Yes, I will have to study my butt off for that section. I was just worried that no matter how high I score, it won't compensate for the poor grades and gpa. Thank you guys for your advice!
