Delaying secondaries?

I've gotten interview invites on my top choice schools, but I have secondary essays to complete for my lesser preferred schools. Should I attend my interviews in september and wait til results before submitting my secondaries for these other schools? I'm wondering if this would be okay, since it would still be pretty early in the cycle (October-ish), and if I get accepted to my top choices, I wouldn't even have to waste my time on these secondary essays. What do you guys think, wise decision? Or should I just suck it up and write those essays anyway?

I would suck it up and write it out, it isn't a promise you'll get into those schools with an interview, so you should go with the phrase.
