Your GPAs are below their average (~3.6) but your 512 (32) MCAT is higher than theirs (29.4). You're in state also, so it'd be worth a shot. Only do the SMP if you're sure you can ace it and want MD over DO.

Thanks, I need to ask the DO I shadow for a recommendation letter still. Otherwise I would have applied. I would love to go to CCOM. It is 10 minutes from my house. Would I be a competitive applicant there?
