Does anyone here have any experience with the Air Force dental reserves force? Particularly, does anyone here have any experience with transitioning from active duty status to reserve status?

Questions:

1) How do you go about doing this?

2) What is your obligation?

3) Pros/cons as a dental career adjunct?

4) Any humanitarian ops?

5) Your experiences?

...Anything you can do to provide some guidance on any or all of these issues would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Denticus 🙂

You just have to contact an Air Force Reserve recruiter. It shouldn't be that hard to do. I would recommend you speak to an Air National Guard recruiter too for the state you plan to live in.

MAKE SURE you talk to an AMEDD recruiter. Do not just seek out a local general recruiter. Many times they will act like they can help you and they typically have little to no experience with AMEDD recruiting.
