I am a 1st year at NYU and just wanted to know what the deal is with these dental frats. Do people actually take this seriously and is it worth it to join for networking and all the stuff or is it just something people do because they think they are still in undergrad?

I'm in my school's chapter of DSD. It is absolutely NOT like an undergrad frat.

Im in alpha omega im sure there is a chapter at nyu. I met lots of alums who are willing to help with clinic, job, and residence programs. It’s a professional fraternity, nothing like an undergrad type frat.
